Who I AM

My name is Rosie and I am the creator behind Stomp of Nature. 

If you had told me a few years ago that I would have my own small business, I wouldn't have believed you! I've spent most of my life dreaming of being an educator, specifically a university lecturer in English Literature. That may still be in my future, but for now I am focused on educating people about the dangers of fast fashion, and giving them an alternative for all their bags needs. I still embrace my nerdy love of literature, which is exactly where the name 'Stomp of Nature' derives. 

The great English playwright, Shakespeare, once wrote of habits: 

"Refrain tonight,

 And that shall lend a kind of easiness,

To the next abstinence, the next more easy. 

For use almost can change the stamp of nature..."

The line spoke to me in more ways than one but, primarily, it reminded me of how I cut ties with the fast fashion industry. Slowly, but surely, I began to refrain. And slowly, but surely, my consumer habits changed. Loving a bit of word play, I changed the word 'stamp' to 'stomp' to represent the terrifying stomp of nature that we may face if we do not do our bit to change the world. Climate change is prolific, and the fast fashion industry has a lot to answer for.
